In search of Louis XVII
The inscriptions on the weathered gravestones in the cemetery of Bel Air can hardly be deciphered at this point. Graves of pirates are supposed to be among them. Perhaps you’ll find the grave of Louis Poiret, who for a time of his life claimed to be Louis XVII and hence King of France. This has been refuted by scientific DNA tests.
