Dense, pristine rain forest

A network of trails, called Nature Trail, runs through the valley. Right past the entrance you can see a group of Coco-de-Mer palm trees; with an estimated age of 800 to 1000 years, they are most likely the oldest specimens of this botanical rarity. Of course Coco-de-Mer is not the only palm tree species in the Seychelles - botanists have counted 43 in total.
