In the ancient center of Athens

The Arch of Hadrian is an imposing marble monument, constructed in the Second Century AD, to honor the Roman Emperor, Hadrian. It was erected over an ancient road that stretched from the Acropolis to the eastern side of Athens. The structure and its inscriptions are of great archeological importance and are remarkably well preserved.
