Icons from the entire country in a beautiful nobility palace
Numerous icons form the center of the collections from the 14th to the 18th century. The sacred pictures of the Orthodox Church are more than just paintings. The saint shown in them is present and biblical events recur in them. The Byzantine Museum shows the development of Christian church building and houses many orthodox artifacts, liturgical gowns and equipment, jewelry, valuable books and documents.
