Essentuki or Yessentuki (Ессентуки́) is a town in Stavropol Krai, Russia. It is located at at the base of the Caucasus Mountains. It was founded in 1798 and was granted town status in 1917. Railway station in the Mineralnye Vody-Kislovodsk branch, 43 km south-west of Mineralnye Vody and 17 km west of Pyatigorsk.
