Overwhelming view from the lookout point above the city – nearly 300 feet above the Moskva River, in a wide bend of the river, is the viewing platform of Sparrow Hills, the former Lenin Hills. In the 1930s, when Mikhail Bulgakov wrote his novel "The Master and Margarita," this was still the only observation point of the city. Not for nothing did Bulgakov set the end of his great novel there for the devil's dramatic last look at the city.
