The Sri Aurobindo Ashram (rue de la Marine, 800-1200, 1400-1800, free, meditation Mon-Wed, Fri 1925-1950) has its main centre in Rue de la Marine. Painted in neat grey and white like most of the ashram’s buildings, it contains the flower-bedecked marble Samadhi (resting place and memorial) of both Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
