The fishing village has kept its original charm and tranquility
The old town of Sozopol houses a wealth of attractive houses from the 19th century. Cypresses line the cobblestone alleys, fishing nets dry in the sun and, under the eaves, the fish themselves. It’s an enchanting fishing village with three beaches. It is the preferred vacation area of painters and writers. Sveta Bogorodica is the area's most remarkable church. The archaeological museum houses a remarkable collection of Greek vases. The most beautiful houses, cafés, and restaurants can be found near the streets of Ulica Apolonia and Kiril i Metodij. The Mechana Vjatarna Melnica and the Mechana Santana are also recommended.
