The Temple of the White Pagoda
The tall white pagoda inside the temple is one of Beijing's most famous pagodas. Standing over 50 meters high, it was the largest pagoda built during the Yuan Dynasty and served as the imperial temple during that time. Though the temple actually burned down in 1368, the white pagoda survived and a new temple was built around it.
