Floating: with a rubber dinghy on top of the Río Iguazú
The subtropical rain forest with its stunning variety of species is perfect for a photographic safari and walks. If you would like to explore the dense rain forest further you can book a tour across the Macuco trail to the lower Iguazu River and come back to Garganta del Diaboloa with a rubber dinghy, passing Arrechea Falls (Iguazú Jungle Explorer, Hotel Internacional Iguazú, and at the park). Floating on the upper reaches of the Iguazú (in a rubber dinghy without an engine), i.e. above the waterfalls is an adventure of quite a different nature. If you like, you can book a day trip through untouched rain forest and excellent opportunities for observing fauna and flora with a large number of species (Aguas Grandes).
