The open-air museum presents a miniature version of Sweden.
Around 150 typical farmhouses and manor houses were torn down throughout Sweden and rebuilt here to create the world's largest open-air museum (founded in 1891). A special attraction is the game enclosure with typical Scandinavian animals.

In the wooden houses bored students sitting in folk costume. Even the moose in the enclosure conceals his joy at the visit. Still, a nice must-visit in Stockholm.

Here you can sometimes lose a whole day! A lot of time with you!
-
The most interesting (and freezing) winter walk I've made was there! Be aware of the short opening times in winter.

Even as an adult, an absolute highlight!

Skansen is always a nice place to go when in Stockholm. The scenery is nice and there are several places to get decent food.
