Gällivare (Finnish: Jällivaara, Northern Sami: Jiellevárri / Váhčir, Meänkieli: Jellivaara) is a town (pop. 8,500) in Lapland, Sweden and the seat of Gällivare Municipality, Norrbotten County. Together with nearby Malmberget and Koskullkulle it forms a conurbation with nearly 16,000 inhabitants.
