An idyllic little Hanseatic town with an imposing castle by the Baltic Sea.
This important port and Hanseatic town on Kalmarsund is situated opposite the island of Öland. Baroque and Renaissance buildings, old town gates, lots of little shops, parks and cafes give the small town a really special atmosphere.
