Sigtuna travel guide

Sigtuna is a city in the Uppland part of Stockholm County, central Sweden. It has a population of 7,000 and is the namsesake of Sigtuna Municipality, even though the seat is in Märsta with 23,000 inhabitants.
Sigtuna is, despite its small population, for historical reasons often still referred to as a city. Statistics Sweden, however, only counts localities with more than 10,000 inhabitants as cities.
