Almancil (pron. aɫmɐ̃'siɫ) is a parish of Loulé, situated in the Algarve region in the south of Portugal.
Almancil is within 5km of the southern shoreline of Portugal enjoying a warm climate all year round. Also located in Almancil is the Estádio Algarve which was used in the 2004 European Football Championship. It is the home ground of Louletano DC and SC Farense and is also used for charity matches from time to time.
It is rumoured that George Michael, Madonna, Alan Shearer, Elton John and Luís Figo own property in this area of Portugal.
