With a population of 120,000, Setúbal is the biggest city far and wide. Tourist attractions are the castle with its pousada (guesthouse), the busy city centre around Praça de Bocage and Avenida Luísa Todi, and the marina. Setúbal lent its name to the "Moscatel de Setúbal", a full-bodied sweet wine, produced locally.
