The small town at the same fjord (23 600 Ew.) Is the administrative center of the county of Møre og Romsdal. At the summer jazz festival in the "City of Roses" is all head. The surrounding area is an exciting juxtaposition of mountains, fjords and open sea.
The Fishing Museum, more properly described as a Museum of Fishing Life is on an island in the Moldefjord and makes a great trip.
