Abbekerk travel guide

Abbekerk is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Noorder-Koggenland, and lies about 9 km north of Hoorn.
It received city rights in 1414. The church of Abbekerk has a tower dating from 1656. Until 1979, Abbekerk was a separate municipality.
