Barneveld is a town and a municipality in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. The population of the municipality was 50,028 in 2005, the town having a population of 28,147.
Barneveld has become famous in the Netherlands for poultry farming and egg production and has a breed of chicken, the Barnevelder, named after it.
