Excellent beach holiday on the high-contrast west coast of Sweden – Bästkusten. No other Swedish region offers diversified coastal stretches like the west coast: fine sandy beaches with dunes in Halland and rocky with islets in Bohuslän. Swedes rightly call the stretch between the Norwegian boarder in the north and Halmstad in the south Bästkusten – best coast. During the high season, residents and tourists stroll along the many boardwalks and enjoy freshly smoked fish after a refreshing bath in the ocean. The world famous petrographs in Tanum are an art historical highlight and a UNESCO world heritage site.
