Land of lakes and forests.
The middle of Sweden is a paradise for paddlers, anglers, hikers and riders. Vänern, Vättern and Hjälmaren – three of the four largest lakes of the country are located in the middle of Sweden. There are also numerous little lakes and rivers in this region. Canoeists and anglers certainly get their moneys worth here. Riders and hikers like the deep woods covering large parts of the area. The cities of Karlstad, Örebro and Uppsala are definitely worth a visit too.
