Rome's largest park was cut in two in 1960 by the Via Olimpia, the road built in a hurry for the Olympic Games. This, the place where Caesar had a villa built for Cleopatra, was where Camillo Pamphili, the nephew of Pope Innocent X, constructed his summer residence in 1644.
