The church space in this pretty Renaissance building (started in 1503) was divided into a public area and a section for the Benedictine nuns living in seclusion. The church contains the city's oldest organ, an Antegnati built in 1554. Magnificent wall frescos by Bernardino Luini and his workshop (1522-29).
