Named after an old city gate, this neighborhood is home to Milan's newest shopping boulevard. The main artery, Corso di Porta Ticinese, is sort of the Via Monte Napoleone's younger sister -- with the shops for many trendy brands such as Diesel, Miss Sixty, Fornarina, and Armani Jeans. On evenings and especially weekends, many young Milanese meet here in the aperitivo bars, fashion cafes, and clubs.
