This place, which consists of five islands and has been populated for around 1400 years, is famous for its glass industry. You are urged to visit one of the ateliers and the Museo del Vetro. The Romanesque cathedral Santi Maria e Donato is also well worth seeing.

Murano offers nice restaurants and bars and they are not as expensive as in Venice
