Zola Predosa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 11 km west of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,446 and an area of 37.8 km².
The municipality of Zola Predosa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Gessi, Gesso, Ponte Ronca, Riale, Rivabella, Madonna dei Prati di Tomba, Lavino, and Tombe.
