Zola Predosa

Zola Predosa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 11 km west of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,446 and an area of 37.8 km².
The municipality of Zola Predosa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Gessi, Gesso, Ponte Ronca, Riale, Rivabella, Madonna dei Prati di Tomba, Lavino, and Tombe.
Zola Predosa borders the following municipalities: Anzola dell'Emilia, Bologna, Casalecchio di Reno, Crespellano, Monte San Pietro, Sasso Marconi. (...) more....
