A visit to the palazzo starts with the Teatro Farnese, the architecturally brilliant, strikingly large wooden theatre dating from 1618. The Galleria Nazionale on the first floor of the building shows the portrait collection assembled by the Bourbons, featuring works by Leonardo, Tintoretto, Van Dyck and Corregio.
