This picturesque medieval town directly overlooks Lake d'Iseo. The Piazza Gabriele Rosa faces the lake, along whose shores it is very pleasant to stroll. The Piazza Garibaldi is lined with typical arcades. One can see Late Gothic frescos in the Church of Santa Maria del Mercato.

If Rome is a giant open-air museum, then Milan is a huge open-air catwalk. Here it's not pleasure that is indulged, as elsewhere in Italy...
