When people think of the Amalfi Coast, they are usually thinking of Positano -- its houses clinging to cliffs for dear life, faded pastel hues and dramatic coastline have been photographed again and again. This has made Positano the most tourist-ed and most expensive area of the coast. Indeed, Prada is as ubiquitous as carbonara in the high season, and often the water is filled with docked yachts, creating a sort of runway vibe throughout the town. Though the glamour/expense factor can run high, no one should be deterred from visiting this justifiably beautiful gem on the coast, at least on a day trip. Your inner James Bond will thank you.
It really was an amazing 4 day trip, landing in Naples, drive an hour to reach Positano, and enjoy four days of July, the Amalfi Coast with Amalfi, Capri Praiano ... Hotel Le Agavi: tremendous views and excellent food, private beach and pool at 300m height on the coast: Incredible! For lovers.
