The most significant sights in what was once a powerful Umbrian town can be found in the medieval upper town: Piazza del Mercato, Via del Palazzo die Duchi, the beautiful cathedral, the Rocca and the Ponte delle Torre. Piazza della Libertà is a great place to start a tour.
