Despite its proximity to Naples, Salerno only has a slightly Neapolitan vibe. The Centro storico is full of life every evening and the Lungomare Trieste is also a great place to visit. As an extension of the elegant Corso V. Emanuele, the Via dei Mercanti leads into the centre where all the most important sights can be found.
