Green oasis in the heart of London - ideal for sports activities & picnics

Largest park in central London: 2 km long and 900 m wide. Although a lot of the old trees were destroyed during the storms in 1987 and 1990, the great diversity of plants is still remarkable. The Serpentine, a flat lake is inviting for taking a walk or rowing. Insider tip: The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, an elegant construction comprising an oval granite ring with water features from 550 bright granite blocks, is located next to the Serpentine Bridge.
