The Royal Mile, which Daniel Defoe described as the "finest street in the entire world", is home to country and cashmere shops and also souvenir shops. The street runs for around 1.6 km from the castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Queen's Residence.

Especially go to the far end of Canongate Street, Near HolyRoodhouse Palace; here is a great souvineer store on the left. Great prices and nice, friendly people own it too! We found it by accident. ________ of Edinburgh. Can't remember whole name.
