Llanthony

A great base for exploring the Vale of Ewyas

Llanthony is a tiny town in the Vale of Ewyas, within the Black Mountains of Brecon Beacons National Park. It is home to the ruins of an Augustinian priory dating back to 1100, but otherwise there's not much else to see. However, this is the best place to base yourself for walks into the Vale of Ewyas - there are numerous camping and B&B options around.
