British art from 1500 to the present day.
This neoclassical building contains a collection of British art from the 16th century to the present day. The collection dates back to the sugar magnate Sir Henry Tate and comprises works by William Blake, Francis Bacon and the anthropomorphous sculptures of Henry Moore. On the first Friday of each month, entrance is half-price.
