On the beautiful, rectangular Plaça Major, the main square in the upper town which is surrounded all the way round by facades of buildings painted in yellow and archways, tourists almost have things to themselves.

The Plaza Major is definitely worth a day trip. You can see various sights, like the street of the goldsmiths and the great cobbled streets, on your way to the Plaza. But be aware of pickpockets!
Nice ensemble building, but during the day it's the horror: jugglers, noisy and crowded - the tourist center of Palma!
