We ate at the White Swan in Ampleforth. The portions were large and well cooked with very nice vegetables included in the price. One of our best meals on our trip

This is my favorite city in England...the history is amazing! To be able to walk Roman walls, to step into the grand York Minster, a boat ride on the River Ouse, lovely tea shops, good restaurants..and the very camp, but fun..Jorvik Museum. It's all good!
