Wasquehal

Wasquehal is a municipality in the arrondissement of Lille, department Nord, region of Nord-Pas de Calais, France. Wasquehal had 18,541 inhabitants in 1999. The town originally had a Flemish name; it was written as Waskenhal in the 11th century.
The third stage of the 2004 Tour de France finished in Wasquehal. Jean-Patrick Nazon won the mass sprint ahead of Erik Zabel and Robbie McEwen. (...) more....
