Bandol is a wine AOC in the Provence region of France, on the outskirts of Toulon.
The red wines are the most famous; they are very powerful wines with great aging potential, predominantly made from the Mourvèdre grape (50% legal minimum), and are considered to be the finest examples of wines made from this grape.
