Rundetårn

Rundetårn

by Marco Polo

Known as the Round Tower, it was originally built so students could study astrology and observe the stars.

The 36 m tall, cylindrical tower was built from 1637--42 as an observatory and also as a church tower for the student church of Trinitatis. From the viewing platform you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Old Town.
