Ebeltoft gives off an extremely cosy feel with its cobbled stone streets lined with pretty half-timbered buildings. In the centre of town is the town hall dating from 1789 with a striking horseman on the roof. The "Jylland" frigate took part in the Battle of Helgoland in 1865 and is today a museum.
