Baroque splendour created by Johann Baptist Zimmermann - in Prien.

The interior of the late-Gothic church was given a baroque style in the 18th century by the Munich painter Johann Baptist Zimmermann: the fresco on the ceiling depicts the "victory of the Catholic armed forces at Lepanto".
