Allianz Arena

Home to Bayern Munich soccer club, the Allianz Arena was built for the 2006 World Cup. With a capacity of 75,000, the stadium is Germany's second-largest behind Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park. The arena was previously shared with then second-division 1860 München, and on match days the color of the lighting on the outer skin of the Herzog & de Meuron construction changed depending on which team was playing. Since 1860 was relegated in 2017, the club has moved back to its former ground, robbing visitors of this unusual attraction.
