Two pyramids adorn this horticultural work of art by Prince Pückler in Cottbus.
In 1846, Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau chose Branitz to be his home and he created a perfect parkland complex around it. Lakes and canals were artificially created and tall trees were planted. The pyramid in which the prince was buried with his wife like a Pharaoh is extravagant.
