Best view of the city in the old centre.
Named after Czar Alexander I since 1805, the square was once used as a parade ground and market square. Nowadays shoppers and people visiting the TV tower congregate on the square's wide expanses and around the listed Berolinahaus (1929).
Just great, a lot of shopping to ride every one worth falling!
u can sit in a bench in the plaza to rest your feet :)
The Alexanderplatz is typical for the huge building (one of the largest in Europe) that resembles the communist era. All around you can appreciate the classic architecture of the '60s, large buildings and unpretentious art.
