There is a magnificent view from the largest exhibition hall in Europe.
At 116 m high, the Gasometer of the "Gutehoffnungshütte", erected in 1929, was Europe's biggest. From its platform you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view. At the foot of this giant structure is another monster: the "CentrO" shopping centre is the biggest in Europe with 70,000 m2 of retail space.
