Baroque garden artwork in the "Sanssouci of the Lower Rhine Valley".
The monastery was nearly completely destroyed around 1600. Only the choir and the nave bay remained. Between 1640 and 1700 the abbey and church were rebuilt. The terrace garden with its baroque garden artwork is worth seeing.
