Volcanic activity created an island of natural wonders
Lanzarote is at first sight, very different from the other Canary Islands. It's dramatic landscape is mountainous, formed by volcanoes millions of years ago. And though it is millions of years old, some of the greatest volcanic activity occurred less than 300 years ago. The island is quite dry, and warm year round. Beaches, wine and art are great reasons to visit this unique island.
