Slides and a raft are used to chronicle the history of salt - learning can be fun!
The tour below ground begins with visitors putting on traditional miners' suits. You then descend several hundred metres with the pit railway into the heart of the mine, where a seemingly endless and splendidly steep slide continues further down.
