Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery

This temple has an appropriate name; the walls are lined with renditions of Buddha.

Ten thousand Buddhas isn't an exaggeration - in fact, if you count the 13,000 small Buddha statues in the main temple, the number actually swells. About 400 steps lead to the monastery itself, and both sides are lined with golden, life-sized Buddhas, each styled in a different position. Some Buddhas are posed more colorfully than others, while a few will inspire giggles. There is a basic canteen offering vegetarian food.
